Proper way to recycle

Before sending your WEEE to recycle, there are few things to remember:

(1) Are the parts mostly intact?

(Photo taken by Mr. Lau Pui Lam, Michael)

The above photo demonstrates a proper checking before recycling.

  • The printer is looking fine in terms of the shape

  • No falling parts and leakage can be spotted

Therefore, it is ready to send to recycling

(2) Send to proper recycling stations (Household Electrical Equipment; i.e. laptops, small household printers) and double check about the categories

(Waste Reduction Website, EPD)

Upon checking, the old printer fulfilled the categories inside REE, which is acceptable for bring to the recycling stations / recycling spots.
