From "FOUR" to "SIX", a new chapter of recycling

Since 2018, total of 4 catergories of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEEs) being regulated as REEs (Regulated Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

4 categories of REEs as follow:

Type A: Air conditioner and Television

Type B: Refrigerator and Washing Machine

Type C: Monitor

Type D: Computer, Printer and Scanner

With the enhancement on the current PRS policy, two new categories of REEs will be in effect from July 2024.

Larger spectrum of Refrigerator and Washing Machine can also be recycled after the enhancement.
